*Yeah so I know a lot of people have been doing this since Ed Sheeran tweeted about Moments being about a guy who commits suicide after his girlfriend dies…but I felt like doing my own…I only just found out about this from my friend because I’ve been in school all day and haven’t checked twitter or tumblr. I haven’t read any other analysis’s yet either, all of this is just my interpretation of the song based on just listening to it. Also I only put the chorus in here once.*

And the tears stream down my face
In the first two verses the guy is going to the hospital to see his dying girlfriend for the last time. He wants to be with her and love her but he can’t, but he can not hide his feelings. He sits with her awhile, either his heart is beating harder, or her’s is, trying to stay alive, and times escapes him as he sits in the hospital. He reaches out to grab her hand, and his own hand is trembling. He becomes overwhelmed with emotion and starts to cry.
